“Reflection in a Dead Diamond” could be the most engaging and enjoyable film yet from this duo. The story centers on a former spy, played by Italian film icon Fabio Testi, who’s now living a quiet life in a nearly deserted hotel on the French Riviera. When his attractive neighbor vanishes, he suspects his old enemies have returned. The film then jumps between the present and flashbacks revealing his past as a younger agent (Yannick Ranier) – missions involving stolen diamonds, a tragic romance, and a decades-long pursuit of a cunning thief named Serpentik (Thi Mai Nguyen).

The new LEGO Icons Stranger Things: The Creel House set is a huge build with 2,593 pieces, recreating the iconic Hawkins home of the villain, known as Henry, One, or Vecna. But it’s more than just a model – it’s a unique collectible! The connections between the X-Men and Buffy the Vampire Slayer run deep. Joss Whedon, the creator of Buffy, has said Kitty Pryde was a direct inspiration for the character. Interestingly, the X-Men: Evolution version of Kitty Pryde was then inspired by Buffy, completing a circular connection. Beyond character inspiration, Buffy’s last name, Summers, was a tribute to the X-Men leader Cyclops, whose name is Scott Summers. During his run writing Astonishing X-Men, Whedon almost included a joke referencing a relative of Scott Summers who believed she was fighting vampires – a nod to the Buffy episode “Normal Again,” where Buffy questioned if her life as a slayer was real. While he ultimately didn’t include the joke, the interplay between these two universes has been present from the beginning.

It’s unclear if Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will stick to its current release date. Marvel’s Avengers: Secret Wars, the final film in the Multiverse Saga, is scheduled to come out just a few days earlier on December 17th. However, a new Sonic movie could be a smart move, especially since the films are popular with families. The first Sonic movie faced a lot of criticism before it was released, mainly because fans didn’t like the initial character design. But Paramount revised the design before the film came out, and it ended up being a surprisingly successful hit, released just before the start of the pandemic in 2020.
