RiffTrax Guys Launch Kickstarter for New MST3K Episodes

As a huge fan of both RiffTrax and Mystery Science Theater 3000, I’m so excited to hear they’re teaming up with Shout! Studios, who now owns the MST3K rights! They’re both posting riffs and shorts on YouTube, which is awesome. Mike Nelson from RiffTrax said it best – revisiting MST3K after all these years has really gotten everyone fired up, and he even admitted he missed being around those classic plastic puppets! It’s great to see them working together again after so long.

Sam Raimi Says He’d Love to Direct SPIDER-MAN 4 With Tobey Magiure

I think audiences would enjoy seeing me revisit Spider-Man. Marvel is doing really well with their current Spider-Man, integrating him into the Avengers and their wider superhero universe. I don’t want to disrupt that success just to make another one of my Spider-Man films, but I’d definitely be interested in doing it someday if the opportunity arose.

Steven Spielberg Gains EGOT Status After First Grammy Win

Steven Spielberg is already an award-winning director, having earned four Emmys for projects like The Pacific and Band of Brothers, a Tony Award for A Strange Loop, and three Oscars for films including Schindler’s List and Saving Private Ryan. He’s now adding a Grammy to his collection, representing both his first nomination and win in that category.

Gates McFadden Wants to Know Where Her STAR TREK Funko Is

In a playful video, Gates McFadden jokingly questioned why her character, Beverly Crusher, never received a Funko Pop figure, even after becoming more involved in the action on Star Trek: Picard. She playfully wondered if there was discrimination against mothers, doctors, or women who don’t fit the typical ‘sex symbol’ mold. The question immediately reminded her of the memorable (and somewhat infamous) Next Generation episode, “Sub Rosa,” featuring her character’s encounter with a ghostly lover. If you haven’t seen it, it’s definitely worth a watch! While The Next Generation was often fantastic, its weaker episodes were truly cringeworthy.

Original BATMAN: TAS Test Animation Surfaces Online

I’ve owned a promotional VHS tape of the original test animation that eventually became Batman: The Animated Series for years – I think I bought it on eBay around 1999. The DVD release claimed the audio was lost, but I still have it. Consider this a little gift to Bruce Timm.

Check Out Our Exclusive Excerpt From THE FIRST FREEDOM: THE STORY OF OPAL LEE AND JUNETEENTH

Juneteenth has long been an important day for Black Americans in Texas, celebrating freedom and independence. Today, more and more people nationwide are recognizing this important date, largely thanks to the efforts of Opal Lee. This Texas activist, counselor, and retired teacher spent years organizing walks and gathering signatures to make Juneteenth a national holiday. In 2021, her dedication paid off when President Joe Biden signed legislation officially establishing June 19th as a federal holiday. She’s affectionately known as the “Grandmother of Juneteenth.”

Marvel Studios Will Reportedly Have NO Super Bowl Ads

According to Deadline’s Anthony D’Alessandro, Marvel Studios won’t be advertising either Spider-Man: Brand New Day or Avengers: Doomsday during the Super Bowl. While both films – with Spider-Man returning July 31st and a new Avengers villain debuting December 18th – seemed likely candidates for a costly Super Bowl ad, it’s not entirely unexpected. Marvel may feel one trailer for Spider-Man and the new Avengers film is enough to generate excitement. They might also release the first trailers later in the year when there’s less competition for attention from other studios.

Meryl Streep Gives Full ICON in THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA 2 Trailer

Currently, Meryl Streep’s character, Miranda, doesn’t seem to recognize Andy, or anything else for that matter. It’s unclear if this is a case of temporary memory loss or simply a cold attitude. We’ll have to watch and find out! We’re excited to see anything Meryl Streep does with The Devil Wears Prada 2, and we’re also happy to see Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci returning. You can get a first look at them in the new teaser trailer for The Devil Wears Prada 2.

SCREAM 7 TV Spot Shows Ghostface Gunning for Sidney’s Bloodline

Sidney and Gale discuss the new killings, realizing the killer has been planning this for years and is targeting people the same age Sidney was during the first attacks. Meanwhile, we see Ghostface and hear a voice eerily similar to Stu Macher’s, hinting at the trouble to come with the line, “this is gonna be fun.” It’s definitely a scary situation.
