You can witness this gruesome scene in episode two featuring poor Prodigy special forces. The most unsettling aspect? Once these creatures embed themselves within a host, they develop inside until numerous bug-like offspring burst out of the host’s body.

In our fictional universe (DCU), unlike Earth, we don’t have cities like New York City or Los Angeles. Instead, we have Metropolis, Evergreen, and Coast City. This world has been inhabited by superhuman beings, known as Metahumans, for at least three centuries. They have significantly impacted our lives.

As we move forward in the DCU, I believe there are now three main groups emerging. These include the Metahumans, the governing bodies, and the corporations. The corporations, surprisingly, play a crucial role. Notable among them are Luthor Corp, Lord Tech, Stagg Industries, and Wayne Enterprises – these four companies are engaged in a power struggle of another kind.

We didn’t catch any references to the Joel Schumacher Bat-films this time, but we’re certain they’ll get their due.
