Here’s what we thought of Halloween Horror Nights’ 34th year.
The video uses the energetic song “You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)” by Dead Or Alive to encourage viewers to try out a fun feature with Pikachu! It’s simple: just put your thumbs on the circles shown on the screen and let Pikachu do the rest!
Evernight’s Skill, Day Gently Slips, uses some of her health to summon her companion, Evey, and boost the critical damage of all Memosprites on the team. The amount of the boost is tied to Evernight’s own critical damage and how many Remembrance characters are in the party. If Evey is already out, the Skill will heal her instead. Using this Skill also gives Evernight 2 Memoria, or 12 if she’s in her Darkest Riddle state.
Okay, I have to say, this video made me laugh! It’s amazing how those little toy chickens actually play the iconic music from *The Empire Strikes Back*. But as a huge *Star Wars* fan, I’m a little bothered by one thing. Seeing Darth Vader just toss all the rubber chickens off the table? That doesn’t seem right! It feels more like something Kylo Ren would do in *The Force Awakens* – a total temper tantrum. Darth Vader is intimidating; he’d just use the Force to choke you without all the dramatic throwing. He’s not a bratty Sith Lord!
As a huge fan of political satire, I was thrilled to see Stephen Colbert revive his old *Colbert Report* character right after Jimmy Kimmel announced he was pausing his show. It was like stepping back in time! He fully embraced that pompous pundit persona, even starting with a dramatic “Hello, nation… Daddy’s home.” And he didn’t pull any punches. He basically said we’re in a free-speech crisis, sarcastically suggesting everyone just stop voicing opinions that might bother the president. He delivered the line, “Give up, America. Just give up and stop saying anything that might upset the president,” with such passion – and then followed it up with a deadpan, “If you think that’s a terrible idea, no you don’t.” It was classic Colbert, and you can check out the whole segment if you want.
The story unfolds in a creepy, abandoned mansion where a strange new virus is spreading. Members of the A.C.P.U. Squad, along with D and the Commander, are investigating when they unexpectedly encounter Jill Valentine and other characters from the Resident Evil series.
Shift Up and Level Infinite released a new event trailer with English voiceovers and showed off some of the game’s characters.
You can now try out a free demo of the new game where you experience life under the rule of demanding cat overlords! The unique twist is that instead of building a successful colony for your people, you have to keep your feline bosses happy by paying them regular tribute. Otherwise, well… let’s just say there are consequences, likely involving being eaten.
Players can now finally get Shiny Chi-Yu, Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, and Ting-Lu in the game! This is the first time Chi-Yu has ever been available in its shiny form, and the other three Pokémon are available as rewards after completing raids.
