Jennifer Grey Returns as Baby in DIRTY DANCING Legacy Sequel

Lionsgate is moving forward with a sequel to Dirty Dancing, enlisting producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson, who also worked on The Hunger Games and Crazy Rich Asians. Kim Rosenstock, known for Dying for Sex, is writing the screenplay. Jennifer Grey, who played Baby in the original film, expressed her excitement about the project, saying she’s been thinking about Baby’s future for years and is thrilled to have found the right team to continue the story. Production is expected to begin later this year.
