DISTURBING MASH-UP ALERT: WEDNESDAY’s Thing Is ONE PIECE’s Luffy for Halloween

This Wednesday/One Piece Halloween crossover is fantastic! Thing even painted its nails a copper color to match the theme and went searching for a pirate ship – we totally support it. Thing shared about its Luffy costume, saying, “what i lack in stretchiness i make up for in stitches.” That’s a clever way to put it! We’re relieved Thing didn’t eat a Devil Fruit – we wouldn’t want to see this hand gain stretching abilities. Overall, Thing nailed the Luffy look, complete with blue pants, a sash, and, of course, the iconic straw hat!

Today, similar recordings would probably be made using artificial intelligence, losing the human element. Perhaps these nostalgic sounds are best left in the past, but for those who grew up between the 1970s and the early 2000s, they’re sure to evoke fond Halloween memories.
