Hearing about Essek’s terrible actions during The Mighty Nein campaign is one thing, but actually witnessing them is incredibly impactful. Tasha Huo, the showrunner for season one, explained that she wanted to show Essek’s descent into making those bad choices from the beginning. She emphasized that he hadn’t experienced love and was deeply unhappy, which led him to commit awful acts. She recalled that Matt Mercer described Essek as a war criminal during a live show, and Huo realized the audience hadn’t actually seen the events that led to that label.

The announcement of a new Divinity game at The Game Awards immediately thrilled fans, even though it’s still early in development and won’t be available for some time. Excitement increased further when the Larian Studios CEO claimed this new installment will surpass even the critically acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3.

Gacha games are well-known for limiting how quickly players can progress. This is done through daily limits, weekly rewards, and scheduled events, which keep players engaged without overwhelming them. Back in 1983, a Marvel comic called What If? #38 explored an alternate reality: what if Sharon Carter hadn’t died? In this version of events, she and Steve Rogers got married and had children. Their oldest was Steven Rogers Jr., and the youngest was Nicky Rogers, named after Nick Fury. These kids only appeared in that single issue, which took place in an alternate universe (Earth-8342), but they’re historically the first official children of Steve Rogers in the entire Marvel Multiverse. (Even though Sharon later returned to life in the main comic storyline and they still didn’t have kids, let’s not dwell on that!)
