Around the game’s anniversary, I was able to ask Crusader Kings 3 director Alexander Oltner some questions for a written interview. We discussed the game’s initial release and how it’s changed since then, acknowledging that its development didn’t always follow the team’s original vision.

The Switch 2 version of the game, known as the Tarnished Edition, includes both the full game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Players will also get a new armor set and ways to customize their spectral steed, Torrent, but those extras will also be released for players on other gaming systems.

The new Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, Mega Rising, will heavily feature Mega Evolution, similar to the recently released Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This set includes three booster packs themed around Mega Gyarados, Mega Altaria, and Mega Blaziken. It’s the first expansion since the initial Genetic Apex set to include three booster packs, rather than the usual one or two.

Monroe hinted that a new project might happen next year, telling Decider that while everyone involved has been busy with other commitments, the script is fantastic and worth pursuing. She believes fans will love it and expressed hope that it will come to fruition, saying, ‘Fingers crossed!’
