Unlike Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart only hosts The Daily Show one day a week – on Mondays. The rest of the week, a team of correspondents – Ronny Chieng, Josh Johnson, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta, Desi Lydic, Troy Iwata, and Grace Kuhlenschmidt – handle the show. This new format might actually be a more efficient and cost-effective way to produce the program.
His favorite episode to direct was an early installment called “This Side of Paradise,” which was the first time viewers saw Spock display his emotions. Actor Leonard Nimoy was so touched by the episode, he wrote to Senesky, praising him as a skilled and insightful director who made him feel secure – a rare experience on television. Senesky went on to direct many other television shows, and his final directing credit came at age 90 with the short film The Right Regrets.
The second season of One Piece will premiere in March. Excitingly, casting for the third season is already underway! Netflix quickly renewed the live-action One Piece after its initial success, which thrilled fans. The newest addition to the crew will be Bon Clay, played by Cole Escola, known for their work in Oh Mary! This Broadway show, a unique drag queen take on the life of Mary Todd Lincoln, was a hit this year. Cole Escola not only starred in Oh Mary! but also wrote and created it, and they recently won Best Leading Actor in a Play – a first for an openly non-binary performer.
It’s funny – people always bring up that one character in interviews, even now. I never expected it would be such a defining part of my work. It seems like whenever I talk to the press, that’s all anyone focuses on. I guess I should be pleased that the character made such an impression and that people still remember her after all this time. I’m sure it will keep being mentioned with every new movie they make, too.
The first season of the acclaimed crime drama centers on detectives Rust Cohle, played by Matthew McConaughey, and Martin Hart, played by Woody Harrelson, as they investigate a disturbing serial killer with ties to the occult. Many fans of the original 2014 series were excited by the possibility of a revival. While McConaughey has expressed interest in reprising his role as the complex Louisiana detective, Harrelson doesn’t feel the same way. In an interview on NBC’s Today, Harrelson explained that bringing Cohle and Hart back together could damage the show’s strong reputation.
A new piece of artwork was released alongside the announcement, depicting Godzilla battling a version of the G-Force team, including the popular robot hero Jet Jaguar. The game also brings together three well-known figures from the Warhammer gaming world – Jervis Johnson, Mark A. Latham, and Gav Thorpe – for their first collaborative tabletop game, Godzilla: The Roleplaying Game. The game challenges players to work together as a team, using character sheets and playing cards, to defend humanity against massive kaiju attacks. Uniquely, the game uses standard 52-card decks instead of dice.

I’m so excited for Tinsel Town! From what I’ve heard, it’s about a former action star who’s fallen on hard times. He ends up taking a role in a little Christmas play in an English village, and through working with the people there – especially a really honest choreographer and a fun, unique group of actors – he rediscovers the magic of Christmas and tries to rebuild his relationship with his daughter. It sounds really heartwarming!
