AMERICAN PSYCHO Is Getting a New Reimagining From Director Luca Guadagnino
The movie “American Psycho,” originally directed by Mary Harron with Christian Bale in the lead role, has grown into an iconic cult horror film. This 2000 production is an adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis’ novel that explores the dark side of ’80s corporate greed. As per a report in Variety, Lionsgate is planning a remake of “American Psycho,” with Italian director Luca Guadagnino at the helm. Notably, Guadagnino has previously directed critically acclaimed films like “Call Me by Your Name” and “A Bigger Splash.” Additionally, he has experience in reimagining horror classics, having remade “Suspiria” in 2018.
