During a recent Reddit Q&A about his new show, Chad Powers, creator Michael Waldron (known for Loki and Avengers: Doomsday) mentioned that he and writer Jeff Loveness once proposed a story idea featuring the Young Avengers battling a version of Kang from across the multiverse.

It really gets me that Jack Kirby passed away in ’94. Unlike Stan Lee, he didn’t get to see how massive his creations would become with these huge movie franchises. It’s a shame, especially since he and Marvel were actually at odds for years. He was constantly fighting for proper recognition and to get his original artwork back. Honestly, the least they could do now is name a street after him in New York City. I’m really hoping the city approves it – his grandkids deserve to see their grandfather honored in the city that fueled so much of his imagination.

Lestat isn’t confined to one genre; the music spans centuries, drawing from classical and romantic French music, early American jazz and ragtime from New Orleans, and even the birth of rock and roll. The goal was to showcase all the musical influences Lestat would have absorbed over his lifetime, and to incorporate sounds from contemporary artists as well. I was reading a report from the event celebrating John Williams’ incredible career at Juilliard, and it sounds like we’re getting another score from the master! Apparently, Juilliard’s president, Damian Woetzel, let slip that the 93-year-old Williams is currently in Los Angeles working with Steven Spielberg on a new film. Honestly, that’s the best news a movie lover like me could ask for!
