Del Toro’s FRANKENSTEIN Drops ICONIC First-Look at Monster

Guillermo del Toro’s take on Frankenstein’s Monster looks fantastic. The special effects and makeup used to turn Jacob Elordi into the creature are truly impressive. The creation of the full creature required a total of 54 silicone pieces. Each time Elordi was fully transformed took 10 hours, and this process happened 50 times during filming! Prosthetic artist Mike Hill explained their goal was to visually expose the inner workings of the human body, which is why the veins are so clearly visible on the Monster.
