There were early suggestions that Brainiac might have appeared in the first *Superman* movie, but it seems James Gunn chose to hold off on the villain to give him a proper introduction. We already know the *Superman* sequel, *Man of Tomorrow*, will feature Lex Luthor and Superman teaming up against a major threat. Now, it appears that threat will be Brainiac, which makes sense considering their history in DC Comics and *Superman: The Animated Series* – they’ve often been rivals themselves.

The second season of *Gen V* immediately throws viewers into a disturbing and shocking scene. The episode flashes back to 1967, introducing a young Thomas Godolkin as he desperately tries to prevent scientists from experimenting with a new superpowered drug at the Odessa lab. He arrives too late, and the trial quickly spirals out of control, resulting in gruesome and horrifying effects – people exploding, bursting into flames, and even growing tentacles. It’s safe to say the experiment was a complete disaster.

The story follows a man who suddenly becomes wealthy, seemingly to illustrate that money can’t solve everything or guarantee happiness. However, it *does* alleviate many of his difficulties, and he appears genuinely happy in the trailer for *Good Fortune*, as Keanu Reeves’ character playfully observes. So much for that lesson, then.

In Endless Legend 2, the main storyline for the Last Lords might require you to sacrifice your own people. This can be tricky if you’re new to the faction, as it involves a special game mechanic you might not be familiar with.
