In an interview with Game Informer, Hidetaka Miyazaki revealed that George R.R. Martin contributed to the initial world and character concepts, but FromSoftware’s writers ultimately fleshed those ideas out within the game. Miyazaki even hinted that some of the final results were so different from Martin’s original concepts that the author might be surprised to see them.

The recent addition of the monster Gogmazios, combined with these changes, is strengthening the idea that the game’s endgame will bring back a powerful Elder Dragon that fans haven’t seen in a long time.

The recent Title 4 update for Monster Hunter Wilds is a significant improvement, designed to re-engage existing players and attract those who stopped playing. Many consider it the best update released for the game yet, and it could be exactly what the game needed to revitalize it.
