If you’re getting the DLC, expect new enemies to conquer, new Nightfarers and more.

The Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree expansion didn’t include any swamps, which was a welcome break for players. However, the new ‘Forsaken Hollows’ DLC seems to be bringing swamps back into the game – even the developers acknowledge players often joke about the game’s tendency to include them!

To start playing The Forsaken Hollows DLC, you first need to buy and download it from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam. If you already own the Elden Ring Nightreign Deluxe Edition, the DLC is included and you can download it for free.

Players have rescued each other an incredible 1.2 billion times after being defeated in battle by the Night forces. Additionally, the Nightreign website has shared data on how often different cosmetic items have been equipped.

With a large roster of bosses from the Dark Souls series and many new weapons introduced in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, Nightreign offers exciting possibilities. Because the game randomizes both items and bosses, even small updates can dramatically alter each playthrough, keeping things fresh and challenging.

The exact method for ranking these bosses isn’t public, but it seems to be based on how many players they’ve defeated. Bandai Namco simply asked which field boss posed the greatest risk, implying a focus on player deaths.

Based on the number of players, it seems people enjoyed Where Winds Meet from the very beginning. Within just one day of release, over 2 million people were playing, making it a top five game on Steam. The developers, Everstone Studios, are keeping the excitement going with regular updates, and players can anticipate a major update soon.

Where Winds Meet does include that feature, but it’s so minor you might miss it entirely. Most of the game doesn’t actually use it, so if you only play through the story once and don’t spend a lot of time collecting loot, you probably won’t even notice it.

The game will also be available on mobile devices – for both Apple (through the App Store) and Android (through Google Play). A great feature is that you’ll be able to play with people on any platform and your progress will carry over. This means you can switch between playing on your computer and on the go seamlessly. To unlock the secret chamber, you’ll need to light the torches in the right order around the fort. The map you have (Clue Two) shows you exactly which ones to light – they’re circled on the drawing.

Here’s how to solve the puzzle: First, light the torch right next to the chest with Clue Two. Then, light the torch along the wall, followed by the two torches on opposite corners of the area. It’s important to make sure all the other torches are turned off!
