I’m really excited about this new drama coming out on February 5th! It stars Luna Rivera and Alex Veadov, two actors I’ve been following for a while. John D. Michaels and Michelle Haro are also in it, which is great – they’re both fantastic. It’s a bit of a longer movie, running an hour and fifty-three minutes, and it’s getting a limited release, but from what I’ve heard, it’s a really emotionally powerful story and a perfect way to start the month at the cinema.

I’m a huge fan of Billy Porter! He’s incredibly talented – you probably know him as Pray Tell from ‘Pose,’ the role that rightfully earned him an Emmy. But he’s so much more than that! He’s a Tony winner for ‘Kinky Boots’ on Broadway, and he’s always pushing boundaries with his music and fashion. What I really admire, though, is that he uses his platform to fight for what’s right. He’s been in amazing things like ‘American Horror Story’ and even the recent ‘Cinderella’ movie, and he just keeps proving how versatile and inspiring he is. He’s truly a force in the entertainment world!

Eddie Redmayne received an Academy Award nomination for his role as Lili Elbe in the 2015 film ‘The Danish Girl’. However, the casting sparked immediate criticism from transgender advocates who believed a trans woman should have played the part. In a 2021 interview, Redmayne acknowledged that accepting the role was a mistake. He explained that while he had good intentions, he wouldn’t make the same choice now, and emphasized the need to create more opportunities for actors from marginalized communities.

Players were disappointed with ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ because the game’s marketing implied players would have a lot of freedom in choosing romantic partners. However, when the game launched, key characters like Judy Alvarez and Panam Palmer were only available to romance depending on the player’s chosen gender. This led to accusations of ‘queer-baiting’ – suggesting options that weren’t actually in the game. Many felt this limited how players could express themselves and their character’s identity. The negative reaction was strong enough that fans created modifications for the PC version to remove these restrictions.

‘No Man’s Sky,’ created by Hello Games, features a vast, ever-changing universe and a unique soundtrack to match. The music isn’t made up of traditional songs, but instead is built from individual musical pieces combined in real-time by the game. This system, using sounds created by 65daysofstatic and Paul Weir, means the music constantly evolves to fit your journey and the intensity of the moment, remaining consistent yet never repeating. It’s a great example of how music can be ‘procedural’ – reactive to gameplay and effectively limitless.

Scorsese shared that he and DiCaprio collaborate often because DiCaprio isn’t afraid to tackle challenging and complex roles. He pointed out that DiCaprio has a remarkable ability to bring clarity to even the most complicated characters. Scorsese also noted that DiCaprio possesses a captivating presence on camera—his face and eyes are so expressive that even subtle movements convey his character’s thoughts and feelings to the audience.

In the first part of the story, Benedict (Luke Thompson) falls for a woman (Sophie, played by Yerin Ha) he meets while both are in disguise. He’s captivated by her and spends time trying to find her again. He eventually finds Sophie working as a maid in the countryside, realizing she isn’t the wealthy woman he initially believed her to be. Despite this, they share a romantic connection, and by the end of episode 4, Benedict asks Sophie to become his mistress.

Kermit and Miss Piggy are bringing ‘The Muppet Show’ back to television with a new special on February 4th! The show will feature music, comedy, and a guest appearance by singer Sabrina Carpenter. Fans can expect classic Muppet sketches and plenty of laughs as the beloved characters return to ABC, offering a fresh dose of variety entertainment.

Great news for fans! Simon has announced a new set of tour dates for 2026. The shows will run throughout the summer, starting in early June in Palo Alto, California, and wrapping up with two performances in mid-July in Ravinia, Illinois. This ‘A Quiet Celebration Tour’ builds on his 2025 tour and will include even more locations.
