‘Sorry, Baby’ is a darkly comedic drama written and directed by Eva Victor. Produced by Pastel and Big Beach and distributed by A24, the film gained attention after winning a screenwriting award at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2025. It initially played in select theaters in late June before expanding to a wider release across the country in July. Deadline reports that 26 crew members out of a total of 600 working on the show have been informed their positions are being eliminated. These affected roles include various departments like stunts, camera operation, sound, hair and makeup, photography, rigging, and transportation.
