The retired Olympic athlete received strong criticism after coming out as transgender, with many finding her comments insensitive to the challenges most transgender people face. People pointed out that her financial resources enabled her to quickly access gender-affirming care and clothing, giving her an advantage many others don’t have. A comment about struggling to choose outfits as the hardest part of becoming a woman drew particular frustration. Her conservative political stances also created distance with the transgender community and increased focus on her privilege. She continues to generate debate when speaking about transgender athletes and standards for medical transition.

Eric Stoltz was initially chosen to play Marty McFly and even filmed scenes for a few weeks. However, director Robert Zemeckis felt he didn’t quite have the right comedic timing for the part. Michael J. Fox then stepped in and brought the necessary lightheartedness to the character. Although it was an expensive change, it ultimately helped create one of the most popular sci-fi comedies ever made. The fantastic connection between Fox and Christopher Lloyd became central to the success of the entire series.

Steve Wright’s list isn’t bad. While it includes some predictable songs, it has to – leaving out classics like Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” or Rush’s “Tom Sawyer” would make the list pointless. Fortunately, Wright included both.

I’m so excited for the next installment! I heard it’s coming out on October 1st, 2027, and even better, Matt Reeves is back to direct and write it with Mattson Tomlin. I can’t wait to see what they come up with!

While Saldana initially stood by her casting, she later publicly apologized with visible emotion for being involved in the movie. Critics and viewers alike argued that the casting overlooked the challenges Simone faced as a dark-skinned Black woman.

Bush shared that a movie’s storyline sparked the concept for the Lynxley family – a group of lynxes consisting of Milton Lynxley (David Strathairn), Cattrick (Macaulay Culkin), Kitty (Brenda Song), and Pawbert (Andy Samberg) – who are all attempting to conceal troubling truths about the city’s history.

Bella Thorne and Tana Mongeau had a very public falling out after ending their open relationship. Thorne was upset that Mongeau started dating another one of Thorne’s exes, Mod Sun, which Thorne felt was a betrayal. She voiced her feelings on Twitter and released songs that many believed were about Mongeau. The drama showed how tricky it can be to deal with a breakup when you and your exes still run in the same circles.
