‘Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point’ is a film set during a lively family Christmas gathering on Long Island. As the family comes together for what could be their final Christmas in their childhood home, old tensions and fond memories come to the surface. Directed by Tyler Taormina (who also co-wrote the script with Eric Berger), the movie stars Matilda Fleming, Maria Dizzia, Ben Shenkman, Francesca Scorsese, Elsie Fisher, Sawyer Spielberg, and Michael Cera, who also helped produce it. Actress Laura Dern announced the passing of her mother, Diane Ladd, on Monday, November 3rd, in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. Ridley, known for her MMA training for the film The Cleaner and for doing her own stunts as Rey in Star Wars, is set to play this actual fighter in a new role.
