I’m really intrigued by ‘Palm Royale’! It follows Maxine Simmons as she tries to break into the super-exclusive world of Palm Beach high society back in 1969 – a time when everything was changing. It seems she quickly discovers that beneath the glamour, the wealthy elite have a lot to hide. From what I’ve gathered, it’s a story about how far people will go to achieve their ambitions and the facades they put up to be accepted. Plus, the cast is incredible – Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, and even Ricky Martin are all involved, so I’m definitely planning to check it out!

Ted Mosby tells the story of how he met his children’s mother, jumping between the present and memories of his past. The show centers around Ted and his close friends – Marshall, Lily, Barney, and Robin – as they live their lives, pursue careers, and search for love in New York City. Over its nine seasons, it became incredibly popular thanks to its clever storytelling and running jokes. Even today, it’s a favorite among viewers on streaming services, known for being funny, relatable, and easy to watch again and again.

As the very last of their kind, they find themselves on a dangerous journey when they’re captured by animal smugglers. Throughout their adventure, they meet a lively cast of characters and discover the value of friendship and bravery. The movie is beautifully animated and features a soundtrack full of energetic Brazilian music and samba beats.

Frieren is an elf mage who, after a decade-long adventure, helped defeat the Demon King. Because elves live for thousands of years, the story focuses on her life after her human friends have passed away. She sets out on a journey to Aureole, the realm of souls, hoping for one last conversation with the hero, Himmel. During her travels, she takes on new students and begins to appreciate how quickly human relationships come and go. The series is known for its thoughtful, somewhat sad atmosphere, its detailed world, and its themes of time and memory.

‘Summer House’ is a reality show that follows a group of friends spending their summer in a shared house in Montauk, New York. It’s become a popular show on Bravo and a go-to for viewers who enjoy seeing how friendships play out – and sometimes fall apart – with plenty of lifestyle and relationship drama.

In early 2022, singer and actor Janelle Monáe publicly shared that they identify as nonbinary during an appearance on ‘Red Table Talk’. I was absolutely blown away by Anna Sawai in ‘Shōgun’! She was incredible as Lady Mariko, and it’s so well-deserved that she’s getting all this recognition, even an Emmy! I’d seen her before in ‘Pachinko’ and even ‘F9’, but this role really showed what she’s capable of. It’s clear she’s become a huge star, and I’m excited to see what she does next in international TV.

‘The King of Queens’ is a funny sitcom about Doug Heffernan, a delivery driver in Queens, New York, and his wife, Carrie. Things get chaotic when Carrie’s quirky and often difficult father, Arthur, moves in with them. The show hilariously portrays the everyday challenges of a working-class couple as they balance family, friends, and life. It aired on CBS for nine seasons and continues to be a favorite for those looking for a lighthearted laugh.
