Honestly, that Bad Bunny halftime show was seriously one of the best I’ve ever seen. The whole setup was amazing and unlike anything I’ve seen before, the songs were super high-energy and just plain fun, and bringing out Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga? Genius! I genuinely couldn’t find a single thing to complain about.
As a film lover, I was completely drawn in by this movie! It starts with a mom noticing something’s off with her son and taking it to his teacher, which then opens up this really intricate look at what’s happening at school – turns out there’s bullying, but it’s way more complicated than it seems. What I loved is how the story is told through so many different viewpoints, slowly revealing misunderstandings and secrets among the students and teachers. It’s a beautiful, subtle film by Hirokazu Kore-eda, set in a typical Japanese suburb, and it really makes you think about what ‘truth’ even means. It’s no surprise it won the Best Screenplay award at Cannes – the writing is just phenomenal.
Starting February 11th, you can stream ‘Asteroid City’ on Peacock. This Wes Anderson film is set in a make-believe American desert town in 1955, during a convention for young astronomy enthusiasts and their families. Their event is unexpectedly interrupted by major world events, leading to a military lockdown. The movie boasts a huge cast, including Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, and Tom Hanks, and is told in a unique way – as a play being shown within a television documentary.
When ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ was first released, it had many technical problems, making it almost impossible to play on older consoles. On February 11th, Paramount+ will start streaming the documentary series ‘How Did They Fix That?’ This show, produced in 2023, explores the huge engineering challenges involved in keeping the world’s biggest structures running. Each episode focuses on the unique skills and new technologies experts use to fix major mechanical and structural problems, giving viewers a detailed look into the intense world of industrial repair and complex solutions.
