Tomorrow Studios plans to begin filming the third season around the end of November 2025, shortly after the release of season 2.

Based on L. Ron Hubbard’s novel, this film takes place in the year 3000 and features John Travolta and Barry Pepper. Director Roger Christian used unusual camera angles and a lot of makeup to show an alien takeover of Earth. However, critics disliked the story and how the movie looked, and it won several Razzie Awards. The film didn’t do well in theaters and plans for a follow-up were cancelled.

Because of its mature content and exploration of complex, even depressing ideas, it’s rated for mature audiences and shown late at night. Younger viewers might find it confusing or upsetting.

Because it’s relatively simple to understand, the Kamehameha is often used to demonstrate how characters learn to control their power and manage their energy.

Throughout the series, the iconic Straw Hat flag is consistently shown waving against the ocean, with sweeping horizon shots highlighting the themes of adventure and exploration. The story quickly moves from village life to the open sea, establishing the Grand Line as both the main location and the driving force of the narrative. The ships, like the Going Merry and Thousand Sunny, are treated almost like characters themselves, becoming central to each story arc and representing the crew’s bond.
