The actress believes the entertainment industry needs to reassess how it values experience and age. She points out that the negative feedback her character receives in the film is meant to be a wake-up call, highlighting the unfair practice of pushing older women to the sidelines.

She strongly believes that a woman’s creativity and professional value don’t diminish with age – not at fifty, sixty, or even seventy. As she approaches sixty herself this year, she feels energized and sees this as a fresh start, not a move toward retirement.

She shared with reporters that she feels like she’s entering a new and exciting phase of her career and has no plans to slow down. This aligns with previous comments she made to The Times, where she questioned why women should ever be embarrassed about getting older.
