Martin Scorsese has often praised Adam Driver’s commitment to his craft. In 2022, he was particularly impressed by the actor’s dedication and the quality of his performance. Scorsese believes Driver has a remarkable presence on screen and even considers him one of the best actors working today.

However, Driver isn’t the only performer Scorsese admires. The director frequently draws inspiration from legendary actors of the past, and Robert Ryan is a particular favorite. Ryan, a prominent American actor from the mid-20th century, starred in iconic films such as The Wild Bunch and Bad Day at Black Rock.
