Here Are All the Movies Coming to and Leaving Hulu This Week, Including a Popular New Horror

Okay, so I recently saw this movie, and it seriously messed with my head! It’s about a doctor, Dr. Rose Cotter, who sees something awful happen to a patient and then starts being haunted by genuinely creepy stuff she can’t figure out. It quickly becomes this intense, terrifying experience for her, and she has to dig into her own past to try and survive. What I loved is that it’s not just jump scares; it really explores how trauma affects you, but through a really unsettling, supernatural lens. The atmosphere is just suffocating! It’s the director, Parker Finn’s, first movie, and it was a huge success – totally understandable given how original and frightening it is. If you’re looking for something to stream, it drops on Monday, February 16th.

The survival thriller ‘Fall’ arrives on February 18th. It tells the story of two best friends who climb a dangerously tall, 2,000-foot radio tower in a remote location. When the ladder breaks at the top, they’re left stranded with little hope of getting down. Grace Caroline Currey and Virginia Gardner star in this suspenseful film, which has been praised for its intense atmosphere and thrilling use of heights.

Brad Pitt Shares the Movie He Considers an All Time Favorite

Like many movie lovers, Brad Pitt has his go-to favorite performances, and he deeply admires classic films that have influenced cinema. During a visit to a video store in Paris, Pitt highlighted Werner Herzog’s 1982 film, Fitzcarraldo, as one of his all-time favorites.

He’s especially intrigued by the famously difficult production of the film, which was documented in the movie Burden of Dreams. Fitzcarraldo tells the story of a man who tries to drag a huge steamship over a hill in the Peruvian jungle so he can build an opera house.

Pitt pointed out the contrast between the first actor cast in the lead role, Jason Robards, and the actor who ultimately finished the film, Klaus Kinski. He explained that Robards brought a cheerful energy to the character’s obsession, while Kinski’s portrayal was much more intense and filled with furious energy.

Christopher Nolan Reveals the Movie He Believes Is Truly Phenomenal

That breakthrough role ultimately led him to direct the Batman trilogy, where he successfully revitalized the character after some earlier, less serious portrayals. Films like The Dark Knight weren’t just popular; they changed expectations for superhero movies in the 21st century.

He’s continued to achieve great success with films like the complex Inception and his recent Academy Award-winning film, Oppenheimer. Nolan often talks about the directors who influenced him, and he recently shared his favorites with Oppenheimer star Cillian Murphy.

Among the many films discussed, Nolan particularly praised Terrence Malick’s 1998 war film, The Thin Red Line, calling it truly exceptional. He described it as beautifully poetic and noted that it remains a stunning and impressive war movie to watch on the big screen.
