Catch Your First Look at PEACEMAKER Season 2 in Max 2025 Teaser

As a die-hard fan who’s been following the DC universe since the dawn of time (or at least since I was old enough to stay up past my bedtime), this Max 2025 teaser has sent me into a frenzy! The prospect of Peacemaker’s return, with John Cena back in action as our love-him-or-hate-him hero, is just the tip of the iceberg.

Max has recently unveiled an enticing sneak peek, providing a glimpse into their lineup for the year 2025 on their streaming platform. Some of the series highlighted include “Dune: Prophecy,” the second season of “The Last of Us,” and the premiere of the DCU series titled “Creature Commandos.” Of course, we also catch a sneak peek at the eagerly anticipated second season of “Peacemaker.” John Cena reprises his role as our lead character/annoying fellow in this installment, with many members of the first season’s cast returning (excluding those who met an untimely, gruesome demise). You can see a preview of just the “Peacemaker” season two segments from the Max 2025 teaser trailer below:

In the sneak peek for season two of Peacemaker, Christopher Smith (also known as Peacemaker) is seen sharing drinks with his pals from season one. He remarks, “Regardless of how far we drift apart, nothing can separate us.” The original cast members include Freddie Stroma as DC Comics’ Vigilante/Adrian Chase, Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo, Jennifer Holland as A.R.G.U.S. agent Amelia Harcourt, and Steve Agee as John Economos. These individuals initially struggled to tolerate Peacemaker in season one, but their shared experience of surviving an extraterrestrial invasion might have forged some deep emotional ties. A new character from the comics is set to join this group. Additionally, Frank Grillo will be back as Rick Flag Sr., who was first seen in Creature Commandos.

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that as soon as James Gunn wrapped up filming Superman, he dived right into shooting Peacemaker season two! However, unlike the first season where he helmed all episodes, his new role at DC Studios prevented him from directing the entire season this time. He only directed three out of eight episodes, with Greg Mottola stepping in for two.

We really enjoyed getting a sneak peek at season two of Peacemaker, and we’re eagerly anticipating even more exciting episodes in the near future.
