Young actor Cary Christopher is the latest addition to the cast of the DCU Lanterns series at HBO.
Christopher to Play “Young Noah”
Christopher, famously recognized from “Days of Our Lives” and “Mr. Mom,” is set to make an appearance as the young version of Noah. This character is portrayed as a courteous and exceptionally talented small-town youth who shines at everything he attempts, particularly when it comes to throwing a football.
As a devoted fan, I’d describe “DCU Lanterns” like this: Embarking on an exciting journey, I find myself alongside Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and fresh recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre). Together, we delve into a gripping crime mystery set against the backdrop of America’s heartland. This series promises to blend the grit of everyday life with the thrilling elements of sci-fi, all while staying true to the intriguing Green Lantern lore.
We’ve been told the series is really good starts out grounded but leans heavily into sci-fi.

The series was created by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and DC comic writer Tom King. Mundy serves as the showrunner, while Lindelof, King, and Mundy collaborated on both writing and executive production. James Hawes directed and served as an executive producer for the first two episodes. Additional directors include Stephen Williams, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Alik Sakharov.
Christopher’s Career on the Rise
From the silver screen perspective, I’ve been enthralled by the captivating performance of young Christopher, who made his debut at the tender age of three in the heartwarming comedy “Mr. Mom.” Fast forward to soap operas, and this prodigious talent graced our screens as Thomas DiMera on “Days of Our Lives” at just seven years old. His remarkable portrayal earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination, leaving us in awe of his talent at such an impressively young age.
He’s scheduled to make an appearance in the upcoming Warner Bros. mystery-horror film “Weapons,” directed by Zach Cregger, this weekend. Additionally, he will be a regular series cast member in Amazon MGM’s “It’s Not Like That.” Moreover, you can catch him in “Spider-Noir” alongside Nicolas Cage on MGM+ and Prime Video as well.

It’s anticipated that the show titled “Lanterns” will debut on HBO Max around early 2026, but an exact release date hasn’t been disclosed yet.
