As a diehard fan who’s been following the Venom and Spider-Man saga for decades, I can’t help but feel my heart racing with anticipation at the prospect of these two universes intertwining! The rumors about Carnage making an appearance in Venom: The Last Dance and potentially transitioning to the MCU through the Hive Mind is just mind-blowing. It’s like a symbiotic connection between the stories we love, and I can hardly wait!
Recently, a trailer for the movie “Venom: The Last Dance” dropped, and it sparked enthusiasm among viewers as they got a glimpse of Knull, the King in Black, for the first time. This film will reportedly serve as the concluding part of Eddie and Venom’s ongoing series, signifying the end of this specific franchise.
Nonetheless, it’s possible that Venom might continue its story, given the increasing whispers suggesting a potential connection between the movie and the upcoming Spider-Man 4 within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Lately, we shared news about speculations that Venom 3 might connect to Spider-Man 4 via secretive post-credits sequences. The main reasoning behind this theory is that Tom Hardy was spotted during New York reshoots, but the trailer doesn’t show any footage from New York. This could mean that the New York scenes are extremely confidential and probably include significant plot twists or spoilers.
Furthermore, the recently unveiled teaser for “Venom 3” hints at the appearance of Carnage, adding more excitement over potential links to the wider Spider-Man universe.
Oh hey, Carnage, what are you doing here? Hivemind memory I guess.

The Hive Mind signifies the combined wisdom and life experiences of all symbiotes throughout the cosmos. This enables them to tap into mutual recollections and abilities, irrespective of which being is currently hosting them.
Although Carnage met his end in the movie “Let There Be Carnage”, it’s plausible that he may be brought back to life thanks to the Hive Mind. This theory hints that Eddie might lose his life during his battle against Knull, but instead of perishing permanently, Venom could transmit his awareness and experiences into the MCU through the Hive Mind. In this scenario, Carnage could also reemerge in a similar fashion.
Furthermore, the fact that Holland recently visited Amy Pascal’s office and there was a “secret shoot day” photo of him lends credence to the theory that Venom: The Last Dance and Spider-Man 4 could potentially be linked.
It’s still unclear at this point, but there are whispers that Knull might not make just a single appearance in Venom 3, and potentially show up in the next Spider-Man movie as well.
