The Cardano Foundation and the Brazilian Federal Data Processing Service (SERPRO) have come together in a partnership that promises to reshape Brazil’s public sector. Prepare yourselves for a digital transformation of epic proportions, or, at the very least, for a few exciting blockchain-driven changes!
The goal of this union? To speed up blockchain adoption and spread the good word of digital literacy far and wide, courtesy of the Cardano Academy’s carefully curated training programs. Brazil’s public sector will soon be a shining example of blockchain efficiency—assuming, of course, that they can get their heads around it!
Cardano Foundation and SERPRO: Partners in Digital Mischief
This bold move builds on Brazil’s already impressive digital governance achievements. According to the World Bank, Brazil is second in the world for digital government maturity. Yes, second—so close yet so far from that top spot. But hey, who’s counting?
SERPRO, the world’s largest state-owned IT company, has had a hand in getting Brazil there. It’s the silent giant behind 90% of Brazil’s federal government systems, processing billions of transactions and managing more than 30.4 petabytes of data. No big deal, right?
But now, in partnership with Cardano, SERPRO plans to unleash blockchain technology on Brazil’s public sector. Oh, and they’re not doing it alone—Frederik Gregaard, CEO of Cardano Foundation, can hardly contain his excitement about the collaboration. “Our work with SERPRO is a pivotal step in transforming Brazil’s public sector through blockchain education and cutting-edge technology,” he enthusiastically proclaimed.
“Through this partnership, we’re laying the foundation for a public sector built on transparency, accountability, and unparalleled efficiency—aimed at benefiting millions of Brazilians. Who needs red tape when you have blockchain?” Gregaard added, probably with a wink.
At the heart of this alliance lies the Cardano Academy, which aims to teach SERPRO employees everything they need to know about blockchain. Imagine, a whole workforce suddenly educated on the wonders of decentralized ledgers. It’s practically a revolution in the making, except with fewer pitchforks and more coding.
The program will feature masterclasses, technical workshops, and certification courses—because nothing says “cutting-edge technology” like a certificate framed on your wall.
“This is a game-changer,” said Alexandre Gonçalves de Amorim, President of SERPRO. “We’re combining SERPRO’s decades of public sector knowledge with Cardano’s blockchain technology to put Brazil on the digital map—front and center, of course.”
It’s worth noting that this is SERPRO’s first dance with an international organization for educational purposes, though Cardano has previously partnered with Brazil’s energy sector. It seems like everyone wants a piece of the blockchain action these days!
And speaking of blockchain, let’s not forget the *mighty* ADA token, Cardano’s pride and joy. It recently made headlines when it was included in President Trump’s crypto reserve. Did it change the world? Well, not exactly. ADA saw a significant price surge, only to plummet shortly after. As of today, ADA is trading at $0.87—down a modest 7.52%. Oh well, at least it wasn’t as bad as Bitcoin’s crash. Crypto—what a ride!
But don’t worry, Cardano’s grand digital dreams are still alive and kicking—though maybe they need a little help from the crypto gods to weather this latest storm.
