In a recent announcement, professional wrestler and actor Seth Rollins disclosed that his character and part were eliminated from the upcoming film “Captain America: Brave New World.” He also confirmed that there will be additional shooting and script revisions for the movie.
What did Seth Rollins say?
During a conversation with Chris Van Vliet, Rollins revealed that his character’s part had been reduced. However, he expressed hope for Marvel and the film’s success.
The movie will premiere in February. I genuinely hope it succeeds, but unfortunately, I’m not involved in that production anymore. You might be wondering about the reason behind this? Well, since I’m no longer part of the film, does my Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) still apply? To put it frankly, any comments I make would simply reflect my personal viewpoint. Due to numerous script revisions and reshoots, my role either underwent significant changes or was completely eliminated from the final cut.
Initially, I tried out for another role or perhaps a change in my existing role, though the specifics aren’t clear. However, they decided to take a different path with it. Yes, I was informed there were numerous rewrites and reshoots required, suggesting that the final product might not feature me, which is likely to be without Seth Rollins.

What role did Seth Rollins play?
It emerged through early photographs that Seth Rollins was seemingly part of the Serpent Society, a group initially slated to appear in a significant action scene alongside Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Danny Ramirez as the new Falcon, and Carl Lumbly as Isiah Bradley. However, according to sources, issues with these action sequences were a primary cause for reshoots, leading to the removal of the Serpent Society and Seth Rollins. Conversely, Rosa Salazar’s character, Diamondback, is still expected to be present in the final version of the film.
In October, Rollins mentioned that he had a role in the movie and was excited to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I found the encounter truly enjoyable and believe it will prove exciting. I’m convinced our viewers will take pleasure in it. Similarly, I anticipate their audience will enjoy it as well, making this a fascinating collaboration. It was thrilling to step into a completely novel role and experiment with something fresh.
What did the Captain America: Brave New World add?
