So, Capcom just dropped some info about the Monster Hunter Stories 3 amiibo – specifically the Ratha, Ratha V, and Rudy ones. Apparently, scanning them unlocks some cool layered armor and other stuff in the game. Pretty neat if you’re a collector like me!
At the recent TGS 2025 event, Capcom announced three new Monster Hunter Stories 3 amiibo figures. Now that pre-orders are open, Capcom has detailed what you’ll receive when you use them in the game. Each amiibo unlocks unique layered armor, and you can scan one each day to get additional in-game items. The two Rathalos amiibo unlock armor for your main character, while the Rudy amiibo unlocks armor specifically for Rudy. Details of the armor unlocks are listed below.
