Distinguished professionals from various fields will serve as judges at the esteemed festival, with an impressive lineup that includes Juliette Binoche, Payal Kapadia, Halle Berry, Alba Rohrwacher, Leila Slimani, Hong Sangsoo, Dieudo Hamadi, Carlos Reygadas, and Jeremy Strong, according to the website.
This year, renowned actor, producer, and director Robert De Niro is set to receive the honorary Palme d’Or for his Lifetime Achievement. The recognition will be presented during the opening ceremony (on May 13) of the event.
Everyone is looking forward to the upcoming festival because Tom Cruise himself will be attending, as his movie Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will be shown in the specified category on May 14th. According to the website, not only will Tom Cruise be there, but also the film’s director, McQuarrie, and other cast members will participate in the event.
