As a die-hard fan of The Boys, I’ve been hooked since the very first episode. The latest season has been nothing short of amazing, despite the initial lukewarm reactions and controversies that surrounded it. But one question that has been on every fan’s mind is, will Vought International finally meet its downfall?
The Boys is one of the most popular superhero series in the world, and its fourth season premiered on June 13, 2024, with the first three episodes. The initial reactions were lukewarm, but the series picked up the pace and is now Certified Fresh with high ratings as well, despite all the controversies.
Despite these other concerns, many fans are curious about the future development of the storyline and one pressing question is: Will Vought International eventually face defeat? Given its portrayal as a corrupt and morally bankrupt entity in the world of The Boys, it’s only natural that fans are eagerly anticipating its demise.
As a long-time fan of “The Boys,” I’ve grown attached to the characters and their stories. But as we near the end of the show, I can’t help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought that defeating Vought might be an insurmountable task. I remember Eric Kripke’s old comments about this, and they leave me feeling rather depressed. Having followed the series since its inception, I understand the complexity of the issues at play and the seemingly insurmountable power of Vought. It’s disheartening to think that our beloved heroes might not be able to save the day after all.
During Season 2’s broadcast, Kripke provided The Wrap with comments regarding the series’ unfolding events. A key revelation emerged then: Supes weren’t naturally born but rather created using Compound V by Vought. However, this explosive information was supposed to spark a public uproar leading to Vought’s downfall – yet history tells us otherwise.
As a devoted fan, I was eagerly anticipating whether Vought would survive the scandal unscathed, but during an interview, Kripke shared his perspective. He praised Stan Edgar’s intelligence, yet suggested that the future might not be as rosy as we fans had envisioned.
Here’s what I will tease, without giving it away, which is Edgar is an intelligent, Machiavellian CEO. We hit pretty strongly from Episode 201 on that he knows the V news is gonna come out and he’s already got plans in place as to how to turn that to his advantage — of which Stormfront (series newcomer Aya Cash) will be a big part of.
As someone who has worked in the corporate world for decades, I’ve seen it all. Companies declaring they’re “too big to fail” and being bailed out when things get tough. It’s a frustrating cycle that seems to repeat itself time and again. And Vought is no exception.

As a longtime fan of The Boys series, I can’t help but be excited about the upcoming final season. Vought International, the powerful corporation at the heart of the storyline, is no small foe. It’s not just about taking down one man, like Homelander, but dismantling an intricately woven web of influence and corruption that has permeated every corner of society.
