Actors Camila Mendes, Madelyn Cline, Sarah Pidgeon, Tyriq Withers, and Jonah Hauer-King have been announced as new additions to Sony’s updated version of the 1997 horror movie hit. Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson and produced by Neal Moritz, this fresh take on the original will provide a contemporary feel. Sam Lansky and Kaytin Robinson are writing the script for the project.

Over time, the horror film gained a devoted fanbase and raked in over $125 million in global box office sales. Actors Prinze Jr. and Hewitt, who initially headlined the production, are reportedly considering coming back for more.
