Callum Turner shared the charming story of how he first met his fiancé, Dua Lipa, describing it as something straight out of a film.

The 35-year-old actor told The Sunday Times that he met the 30-year-old pop star while they were having drinks before a birthday party for a friend they both know, in Los Angeles.

Turner recounted a surprising coincidence: he and another person were reading the same book, Hernán Díaz’s *Trust*, and had both just finished the first chapter. He joked that they were ‘on the same page,’ as in, literally at the same point in the book, according to a report in the newspaper.

He described the moment as magical, recalling a scene he imagined for a movie. “I pictured looking up at the sky and feeling like I was receiving a message—hearing and understanding it clearly,” Turner explained. “It felt like a powerful sign, and that was the first time I really felt that way.”

Rumors of a relationship began in January 2024 when the two were seen together after the premiere of “Masters of the Air” in London. They were later photographed kissing on a date in Los Angeles that same month.

In July, Dua Lipa and Callum Turner publicly confirmed they were dating by sharing photos from Glastonbury Festival on Instagram. They then made their first official appearance as a couple at the 2025 Met Gala.

Dua Lipa recently revealed to British Vogue that she and her partner are engaged. She described the feeling as “very exciting,” adding that the idea of growing old together and being best friends forever is truly special.
