Bye Bye, Earth Episode 5 recap

Farewell, Earth Episode 5 is named “Performance of Swords and Balances, Good versus Evil.” The story unfolds in the chilling environment of Katakombe, where the powerful figures known as Topdogs move forward, echoed by the foreboding rhythm of marching bands.

Moving forward, they stumble upon a colossal arachnid-like being, and in a moment of recklessness, Gordon charges at it. This impulsive action triggers a horde of smaller spiders, causing heavy losses among their group. Adonis pleads with Belle to retreat, but she bravely pushes ahead, delving deeper into the enemy’s lair.

In this scene, Belle’s companion, Benedictine, becomes overly tense and mistakenly fires a gunshot at Belle. Suddenly, Gordon re-emerges, aggressively attacking both of them. However, Benedictine discerns that Gordon is not under his own control, but rather a zombie being manipulated by someone else. Despite numerous magical arrows fired by Benedictine, Gordon persists in rising again and again.

In Bye Bye, Earth Episode 5, it’s only when Belle shatters his sword and Kitty sets him ablaze that his progress comes to a halt. Following the fight, there’s a short-lived disagreement between Benedictine and Belle. Once peace is restored, they rejoin the remaining Topdogs at a holy lake.

In that location, they observe Tiziano arranging dead bodies to reenact a conflict between righteousness and wickedness. They swiftly depart and encounter Gin Buck, a conductor for the underdogs, who discloses that Tiziano has fallen into madness following the revelation of Adonis, the messenger of his lover’s demise.

In a surprising turn of events, the Powerhouses and Underdogs join forces to challenge Tiziano, each given unique tasks. In Bye Bye, Earth Episode 5, Adonis’ father, Tom Collins, reveals to Belle that though they reside outside the castle, their family serves as guardians of Katakombe.
