Buckingham Palace Investigates After Housemaid Gets Arrested For Breaking Glass & Assaulting Bar Staff At Christmas Party

As a seasoned observer of royal affairs, having spent countless hours poring over news articles and documentaries about the British monarchy, I must say that this latest incident involving a staffer at Buckingham Palace is rather disheartening.

Investigators from Buckingham Palace are examining an occurrence linked to an employee who was detained following a ruckus at a pub close to the palace, after the Christmas festivities. This employee, believed to be a housekeeper, was apprehended by authorities.

On the 10th of December, approximately fifty employees from the royal household convened at All Bar One, a pub situated on Victoria Street in London, following a Christmas party at Buckingham Palace.

24-year-old woman is said to have attempted to attack a bartender and shatter a glass at the gathering. Authorities arrived after receiving complaints about the commotion, leading to her arrest for potential charges of simple assault, vandalism, and being intoxicated and disruptive.

A witness told The Sun that the situation was shocking: “I’ve never seen one person get that crazy during a night out. She was on another level.”

According to their statement, officers from the Metropolitan Police were dispatched to a bar located on Victoria Street, SW1, after receiving information about an altercation. The incident involved a customer who shattered glasses and allegedly tried to attack a staff member.

Officers confirmed that a 24-year-old woman was apprehended under suspicion of assault, vandalism, and public intoxication followed by disorderly behavior. She was detained and later freed on bail the next day, receiving a citation for misconduct instead.

On Friday, December 13th, a representative from Buckingham Palace spoke about a situation that occurred. This individual acknowledged an incident outside the premises that involved multiple employees who had earlier been present at a reception within the Palace during the evening hours.

Despite being labeled an unofficial social get-together instead of a formal Palace Christmas party, they’ve announced that they will thoroughly examine the situation.

As a devoted supporter, I want to clarify that although it wasn’t our formal Palace Christmas event, this informal get-together will undergo thorough investigation. A stringent disciplinary procedure will be implemented for the involved staff, ensuring fair and fitting consequences are applied.

It’s anticipated that King Charles will invite his extended family for a festive gathering, which he himself is organizing, in the forthcoming days. Later on, it’s planned that the entire royal family will celebrate the holidays at King Charles’ Sandringham estate located in Norfolk.

Regarding the recent event, it seems the spotlight is still on the family’s upcoming celebrations, with no new information about the involved staff member’s identity or the current status of the investigation being disclosed from the Palace.
