At a Kamala Harris rally in Georgia, Bruce Springsteen delivered a powerful endorsement, expressing his belief in her potential victory in the 2024 presidential election. The musician characterized Donald Trump as an autocrat who aims to seize absolute control over democratic institutions.
Prior to Harris’ appearance, the renowned musician Bruce Springsteen performed popular numbers such as “The Promised Land” and “Land of Hope and Dreams”. Beforehand, Springsteen shared his reasons for backing both Harris and Tim Walz, rather than Trump.
According to TMZ’s report, he stated that Donald Trump aspires to become a despotic leader in America. It seems that he lacks understanding of our nation’s history, essence, and true American spirit.
Next, Springsteen identified himself and expressed his backing for Walz as president and Harris as vice president of the United States. He clarified that Harris advocates for rule of law, peaceful transition of power, and women’s empowerment. Furthermore, he mentioned that Harris aims to establish a thriving middle-class economy that benefits all citizens.
He emphasized that his choice aligns with his respect for American leaders who uphold democratic values and work diligently to preserve the unity and democracy within the United States.
He offered a comparison between the Harris-Walz campaign and the Trump campaign. He explained that the reason for Harris’s candidacy is that she could become the 47th president, whereas in the case of Trump, he is only after the presidency to attain absolute authority in a dictatorship style where democracy would cease to exist.
As a devoted admirer, I’m proudly announcing my support for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. I invite all those who share my belief in the true essence of American values to stand with me. In my opinion, Trump’s actions and beliefs seem to contradict the core values of our nation, its history, and what it truly means to be an American.
Apart from Bruce Springsteen, celebrities like Eminem, Beyoncé, Julia Roberts, Taylor Swift, and numerous other prominent figures have shown significant backing towards Kamala Harris. In contrast, Mel Gibson has recently endorsed Donald Trump. Notably, Barack Obama and Eminem attended a Detroit rally for Vice President Harris on October 22. Furthermore, it’s anticipated that Beyoncé will participate in a Houston rally for Harris as well.
