Okay, so I was checking out some behind-the-scenes pics from the new Baywatch reboot, and Brooks Nader seriously stood out. She was rocking this amazing red one-piece swimsuit that looked fantastic on her. Everything about her look just screamed ‘beach vibes’ – her blonde hair was all loose and wavy, and her makeup had this really natural, sun-kissed glow. It totally fit the whole sunny Baywatch scene.
A revival of Baywatch has been discussed for several years. As early as August 2018, FremantleMedia International explored the possibility of bringing the series back. By April 2023, they were actively in negotiations with various streaming services and TV networks. In 2024, Fremantle partnered with Fox Entertainment to officially produce the reboot for Fox.

So, I was thrilled to hear Fox officially picked up the series back in September 2025! They’re planning a 12-episode first season, and it’s looking like we’ll get to see it sometime in the 2026-27 TV season. And get this – California is giving the production a huge boost with a $21.1 million tax credit, which is awesome for getting it made!
In February 2026, more casting details were revealed. Stephen Amell will play an adult version of Hobie Buchannon, now leading the Baywatch team following in his father’s footsteps. Also returning is David Chokachi, reprising his role as Cody Madison from seasons 6 to 9 of the original series.
I was so excited to see the cast come together for the show! By March, everyone was officially on board. We’ve got Brooks Nader leading things, and she’s joined by Jessica Belkin, Thaddeus LaGrone, Hassie Harrison, Noah Beck, and the always fantastic Shay Mitchell. Plus, a fun addition – Livvy Dunne, the athletic influencer, is going to be popping in as a junior lifeguard throughout the season!
Brooks Nader’s striking swimsuit while filming has quickly gained attention from fans, suggesting the new Baywatch series will capture the spirit of the original while offering a fresh, contemporary feel.
