The documentary aims to go beyond just her personal tale, delving into a wider conversation about societal issues related to the premature sexualization of young girls.
She remarked, “I served as a link to a larger discussion, and to me, that’s the most valuable gift I could receive.” Garth inquired if her daughters, Rowan Francis Henchy and Grier Hammond Henchy, “understand why you made that choice,” to which she responded, “One of them does, but the other one doesn’t,” elaborating that her younger daughter Grier “will always be upset with me.
In the documentary, the actress playing the Mother of the Bride admitted that her daughter, Grier, was taken aback by the information presented.
