Brittany Cartwright Opens Up About Split From Jax Taylor; Claims Her Decision ‘Wasn’t Made Lightly Or Quickly’

As a dedicated follower who has watched Brittany Cartwright grow on screen over the years, it’s heartbreaking to see her go through such a difficult time. I can only imagine what it must feel like for her, dealing with personal pain while also facing public scrutiny and misconceptions about her situation.

Brittany Cartwright recently opened up about her separation from Jax Taylor during an episode of the When Reality Hits podcast. In conversation with listeners, she revealed that the past week has been particularly challenging for her as she navigates the process of divorcing her former spouse.

During the time when Cartwright was dealing with her divorce, the general public seemed to focus on a separate matter entirely. This TV figure then elaborated on her perspective that her personal circumstances had been misconstrued as a ploy for attention, which in actuality was not the intention.

In my own journey, as a reality TV personality, I’ve found myself navigating through an intensely personal and painful experience – a divorce – all under public scrutiny. I’m not sharing this for sympathy, but rather as a testament to the life I’ve chosen and the immense blessings it brings me. I strive to maintain transparency with you all, my audience.

Beyond her initial statement, she emphasized that her choice to file wasn’t hasty or impulsive. Instead, it was the culmination of years of building up the courage and resilience required to make the decision that would benefit her most – extricating herself from a harmful relationship, recognizing her self-worth, and ultimately, moving forward in a positive direction.

In the midst of her personal upheavals, Cartwright found solace and inspiration in her son, Cruzie. Additionally, starting from the next episodes, she and Taylor will be recording their podcast individually.

As reported by US Weekly, it appears that Cartwright filed for divorce on January 24 due to irreconcilable differences. Notably, this reality TV star has requested the court to deny any form of spousal support for either party involved in the divorce proceedings.

In February, Cartwright openly announced her relationship status on her podcast, stating, “Many of you have inquired about Jax and me, and since we’ve been quite open about our lives with you, I believe it’s crucial to be truthful and transparent.”

She continued to say, “I don’t want it to seem like I am lying or anything like that. So I think it is important for me to say this. Yes, marriages are very hard, and I had a particularly rough year.”

In 2019, Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor exchanged wedding vows, and they have a child together after five years of marriage.
