Fans are excited for the fourth season of the popular Netflix series Bridgerton, and now we know when it will arrive! Although Netflix hasn’t officially announced the release dates worldwide, the Netflix Netherlands Instagram account mistakenly posted them.
Season 4 of Bridgerton will be released in two parts, according to a recent announcement. The first set of episodes will be available starting January 29, 2026, with the remaining episodes coming on February 26, 2026. WhatsOnNetflix reported the news and shared a new poster revealing these split release dates.
As a huge fan of Shondaland, I’m so excited for the next season of Bridgerton on Netflix! It’s set in the beautiful world of the early 1800s and, of course, is full of all the drama, romance, and scandal we’ve come to expect. This time around, they’re focusing on Benedict Bridgerton and his journey to find love – I can’t wait to see what happens with the second son of the family!
Benedict’s love story takes center stage
Season 4 centers on Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and his connection with Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a maid who holds a secret. They first meet at a masquerade ball hosted by Lady Bridgerton, where Benedict is captivated by a woman in a silver mask, not realizing who she truly is.
The new series will offer a fresh perspective on the classic Cinderella story. According to reports, the writing team, led by Jess Brownell, has created a truly captivating narrative. As one source put it, the story is not only fantastic but also promises to be something viewers can easily connect with.
Ha explained that she felt a strong connection with her character from the start of the audition process. She was particularly drawn to Sophie because the character faces challenges right away and is always working to overcome them.
Here’s what to expect from Bridgerton Season 4
Fans will be happy to see Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie) return in the new season. Their friendship has grown even closer after the challenges they faced last season, according to show creator Brownell.
This season, Michelle Mao and Isabella Wei join the cast as sisters Rosamund and Posy Li, who are being introduced to London’s social scene. Their mother, Araminta Gun, played by Katie Leung, expects great things for them. Simone Ashley returns as Kate Bridgerton, and Golda Rosheuvel will once again portray Queen Charlotte.
