Brandi Glanville Suffers Facial Burns After Using Nair to Treat Suspected Parasite in Viral TikTok Video

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share the latest news about Brandi Glanville, a beloved ex-star from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. In a recent TikTok video posted this Sunday, Brandi revealed an unsettling incident that happened to her. She suffered chemical burns on her face due to using Nair, a well-known hair removal product, in a desperate bid to eliminate what she suspects is a parasite. The video clearly shows her facial irritation and she spoke candidly about this experience.

In the video, Glanville playfully said, “I may come off as good-looking,” followed by, “Fortunately, you no longer need to splurge on chemical peels or laser treatments.

Brandi Glanville stated that she applied Nair, with the intention of removing a facial pest she humorously called “Caroline,” which could be a reference to her fellow Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip cast member, Caroline Manzo.

Glanville blames Morocco filming for ongoing health problems

The situation can be traced back to January 2023, when both Glanville and Manzo left the Moroccan set of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Manzo alleged that Glanville behaved inappropriately during filming, an accusation that Glanville vehemently denied, labeling the claims as “absurd,” as reported by Page Six.

Previously, Glanville shared with Entertainment Tonight in December 2024 that she suspected she got a parasite while filming in Morocco. She mentioned that food was left out for extended periods, some of which were meat. Glanville noted that her health issues started approximately six months later.

Here’s what she said about the results of the Nair experiment

In my recent TikTok post, I enthusiastically showed how I used Nair for an extended period, believing it to be the secret to eternal youth. However, I learned a hard lesson – “too much of a good thing can be bad.” I left it on longer than recommended, about seven minutes, and ended up with visible chemical burns as a reminder. So, let me share my experience: Nair is indeed wonderful, but be cautious not to overdo it!

In my expertise, I’ve come across instances where individuals attribute movements on their body to certain applications, like the one referred to as “Caroline”. Yet, it’s crucial to note that these connections aren’t always scientifically proven. It’s essential to consult with a healthcare professional for accurate information regarding such matters.

For some time now, Glanville has been visiting numerous doctors due to her symptoms, yet none have managed to help her so far. She described the ailment as one that resulted in swelling on her face and even the loss of teeth.

She mentioned during her ET interview that for an entire year, she’s been taking medication, has limited social interactions, and rarely goes out. At some point, she needed intravenous antibiotics which reduced the swelling, but unfortunately, they proved to be expensive and couldn’t be continued.

Glanville shared that she’s invested over $70,000 in non-surgical medical treatments, with the aim of securing a diagnosis and finding some relief.
