Brain Dead collaborates with Disney Consumer Products and 20th Century Studios to launch a special, Aliens-themed collection, based on the iconic series from Dark Horse Comics, which is only available for a limited time.
This assortment encompasses:
1. A six-panel black hat with six panels.
2. Two graphic T-shirts displaying artwork.
3. A black hoodie.
4. The designs and references are inspired by comic books, particularly the “Alien” series.
Brain Dead’s founder, Kyle Ng, who is a passionate fan of the “Alien” franchise, drew upon his personal collection of original comic book editions for this launch. He carefully picked and digitized the graphics from an extensive range. Ng’s formative years were spent often visiting comic book stores in Los Angeles, which significantly impacted his creative sphere, making this undertaking a symbolic full-circle tribute to his roots.
Bobby Kim, VP of Creative Design at Disney Consumer Products, stated that the daring and innovative nature of the Alien series has consistently defied conventional standards. This aligns perfectly with Brain Dead’s creative perspective. It’s thrilling to witness the Alien brand being reimagined for today’s audience, offering products that will appeal not only to fashion-conscious shoppers but also to fans.
To mark the grand unveiling, Brain Dead Studios Fairfax plans an “Alien invasion” on August 9th and 10th. This exciting event includes a seven-film marathon on the first day, with screenings of “Alien” and “Aliens” scheduled for the second day.
