Bradley Cooper turned heads at the premiere of his new film, Is This Thing On?, on Wednesday, but viewers were distracted by a scrape on his nose. The actor and director, 50, appeared to have had a small mishap, though the details aren’t known.

Let me tell you, Bradley looked fantastic on the red carpet, a little scuffed maybe, but totally confident next to Laura Dern. His outfit was classic – a sharp blue blazer, black trousers, and a perfectly white shirt. And he’s brilliant in the film itself! He plays Balls, Alex Novak’s best friend, and honestly, he steals every scene. Will Arnett is great as Alex, a guy dealing with a messy divorce, but Bradley’s character, Balls, is this wonderfully chaotic, often-drunk, and completely delusional presence that provides much-needed comic relief. It’s a really fun dynamic.

Is This Thing On? explores themes of marriage, finding yourself, and growing as a person. The film centers on Alex, who’s trying to make a name for himself in the New York comedy world, and his wife, Tess, who’s thinking about the choices she’s made for their family. It’s a story about raising kids together, figuring out who you are, and whether love can change over time. The movie draws inspiration from the life of comedian John Bishop.
Bradley first discussed the project back in February when he was on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show, giving fans an initial idea of what it would be like.
Despite a slight injury to his nose, Bradley didn’t let it bother him and confidently charmed everyone at the premiere.
