As a die-hard cinephile, I’m thrilled to share that my next major endeavor will be with “Heart of the Beast”, an exhilarating action-adventure flick directed by the talented David Ayer. According to recent reports from Deadline, this project will be produced by my company, Plan B Entertainment, and it’s a fantastic opportunity for me to team up with Ayer again, following our successful partnership on “Fury”. In that film, I portrayed a U.S. Army sergeant during World War II, and I can’t wait to see what new adventures await us this time!
In the story of “Heart of the Beast,” we find a veteran Army Special Forces soldier and his loyal war-dog companion, both of whom end up stranded in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness after a tragic plane crash. The screenplay has been skillfully crafted by Cameron Alexander, who will also serve as one of the show’s executive producers.
Under Wild Chickens Productions, which is owned by Damien Chazelle, Olivia Hamilton, and Ayer, the upcoming film will be produced. There are several production companies involved in this project, with Temple Hill Entertainment and Richard Raymond serving as co-producers.
As a dedicated cinephile, I can’t help but be thrilled about Brad Pitt’s latest endeavors. Following his impressive contributions to projects like “Ad Astra” and “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” he’s diving into new territories. One such territory is the world of sports action with “F1,” an upcoming movie for Apple, and “Wolves,” a hilarious fixer comedy on Apple TV+ that was jointly produced with George Clooney. Remarkably, after a limited run in theaters, this film has become Apple’s most-watched feature to date.
Besides appearing on screen, Pitt has also been involved off-camera, serving as an executive producer for films such as “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” and “Bob Marley: One Love”. More recently, he’s been working behind the scenes on “Mickey 17”, a film directed by Bong Joon-ho, scheduled for release in March.
