A woman from France was tricked into thinking she was communicating with Brad Pitt, who turned out to be a fraudster posing as the Hollywood star! This imposter supposedly used artificially intelligent images of Pitt in a hospital setting to validate his identity.
For approximately a year, the con artist deceived 53-year-old Anne, an interior designer, with a phony romantic storyline. Believing that an actor she had become involved with was ill and required financial assistance, she unwittingly handed over her life savings to the scammer.
A fraudster persuaded Anne that Brad Pitt supposedly needed money for a medical procedure related to kidney issues. He claimed that the legal separation from Angelina Jolie had left him unable to access his bank account for years, although their divorce was officially finalized just last month.
Anne confided in Page Six that the incident started when someone posing as Brad Pitt’s mother, Jane, contacted her, requesting money to save Brad’s life. At first, she thought it was a hoax, but she found herself unsure because she’s not familiar with social media and didn’t fully grasp what was happening to her, Anne explained.
After receiving numerous false messages from a phony account, she began to accept them as genuine and even decided to divorce her husband in the hope of meeting Brad Pitt personally. However, upon reading news about Pitt’s ongoing relationship with Ines de Ramon, she understood it was a scam. “I have never caused harm to anyone,” she said to the media outlet. “Those people deserve damnation.
