Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s Wolfs Gets A Sequel Even Before The Film’s Release; Makers Confirm

As a dedicated follower who has witnessed the golden era of Hollywood and seen countless stars rise and fall, I can confidently say that the reunion of Brad Pitt and George Clooney in “Wolfs” is like a breath of fresh air. Their combined charm and wit is something that only comes around once in a blue moon.

As a die-hard movie enthusiast, I can’t help but marvel at the timeless icons who grace Hollywood, stars like Brad Pitt and George Clooney whose charm never seems to fade, even after numerous blockbusters under their belt. The anticipation for these two gentlemen is so immense that fans are already clamoring for more, long before the official release of their upcoming films.

As a longtime fan of Brad Pitt and George Clooney, I can’t help but get excited at the news that a sequel to their highly-anticipated team-up comedy, “Wolfs,” is already in the works even before the first installment has been released. Having followed their careers for years, I’ve come to appreciate their unique comedic timing and chemistry on screen. With Apple TV+ announcing that they have discussed with “Wolfs” writer-director Jon Watts about brainstorming a follow-up, I can only imagine the hilarious antics that await us in the sequel. As someone who grew up watching their films, I can’t wait to see what these talented actors and filmmakers have in store for us next.

Fans have eagerly waited over fifteen years since Robert Downey Jr. and Brad Pitt last shared a screen in “Burn After Reading” (2008). Now, they’re set to team up once more in an upcoming comedy movie, leaving fans thrilled about the reunion of these two iconic Hollywood stars.

The movie “Wolfs” will be available in select cinemas on September 20, followed by its premiere on Apple TV+ on September 27. In a conversation with ET, Clooney playfully took a dig at his co-star Pitt when they discussed their partnership. Referring to Pitt, Clooney jokingly said, “Well, the pretty boy here… yes, he needed some help. He’s an up-and-coming actor.”

In Wolfs, Clooney plays Jack, a skilled problem solver hired to conceal a major crime in a hotel. However, another professional fixer, Nick (Pitt), shows up claiming he’s been hired for the same task. Both preferring to work independently, they are compelled to join forces to uncover the truth and regain control of the situation. They soon realize that things have spiraled out of their grasp as they delve deeper into discovering the reason behind it all.

In an interview with Deadline in January 2022, Clooney and Pitt demonstrated their dedication by agreeing to a substantial salary reduction for both theatrical screenings and streaming. Remarkably, despite Apple TV’s generous offer that would have paid them handsomely, they opted for a lower fee, provided that the film could secure a theatrical release.

Matt Dentler, head of features for Apple Original Films, stated in a press release on August 7th, “George and Brad’s exceptional and captivating dynamic, skillfully guided by Jon Watts’ talented direction, results in Wolfs seamlessly combining humor, action, and emotion into an incredibly enjoyable film that will have viewers eagerly anticipating the sequel.”
