Blue Protocol: Star Resonance is set to arrive on PC and mobile in 2025

Initially, Amazon Games had planned a global release for the MMORPG Blue Protocol, but due to insufficient popularity in Japan, it didn’t happen. However, Shanghai Bokura Network Technology is now reworking the game originally developed by Bandai Namco and plans to release it as Blue Protocol: Star Resonance in 2025.

The game BPSR can be accessed on personal computers through both Steam and Epic Games Store, as well as on various mobile devices globally. Notably, it offers cross-platform compatibility, allowing players to engage in games with one another regardless of the device they are using.

In the new version of the Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG), the artistic style will remain reminiscent of anime, similar to the initial release. However, the designs for characters have been updated to resemble those seen in well-known games such as Genshin Impact.

In this updated version of the game, you’ll find significant changes: BPSR is transitioning into an open-world title, featuring a flexible combat system that differs considerably from its predecessor. Key components such as character classes, abilities, skills, and gear have been reimagined to align with the fresh concept.

Characters can be tailored according to player preferences, whether for appearance or game mechanics. Additionally, features typical of Massively Multiplayer Online games like guilds and trading are included too.

In the BPSR game, as reported by beta testers, there will be elements similar to gacha systems, primarily focusing on cosmetic items. A standout feature for many players will be the inclusion of an expansive fishing system within the open-world environment.

Further information about the game will be revealed over the next few weeks and months, as the secret has been unveiled.
