Her son, Sebastian, shared the sad news on social media, revealing that she had suffered injuries from a ski accident prior to the surgery. The actress lost her life on Monday. This unfortunate event occurred just under a month after her operation.
To honor his mother in a sincere way, Sebastian posted a series of photos on social media featuring him and Ban from different events. He admitted in the caption that Ban is not only a media personality but also his best friend. Moreover, he praised her as being the most hilarious and stylish mom.
He subsequently wrote, “On Monday, my dear mother departed. I believe she desired to chronicle her experiences following her accident and brain surgery, so I felt it fitting to share this final update with those who stood by her throughout her journey.
Sebastian went on to say, “She managed to keep a smile despite hardships as she went through her healing journey. She fought valiantly till the very end and is undoubtedly the most resilient woman I have ever known.
He went on saying that even though his mom is no longer with us, her life was something worth commemorating. Simultaneously, the jewelry designer sustained severe injuries in a skiing accident during their family holiday.
As per the reports, Ban was on the summit of the mountain when the event occurred. Unfortunately, during the helicopter transport to the hospital, she experienced a brain hemorrhage.
